PEACE LIST =)

1. Were there any differences in the amount of information you were able to fill in on each list? I could definitely fill out every single war question, but only three about peace. This shows that war is more promoted than peace.

2. How do you think these messages about violence influence our everyday actions? What do your responses reflect about our culture? It shows that war is more broadcasted than peace. It makes people think that problems can be solved with confrontation and war. It shows how little we understand as a culture.

3. Are we a naturally violent society? I wouldn’t say we are naturally violent but violence is defiantly promoted a lot more than peace and is seen in everything. Movies, video games and the news sell war and it effects us because we see it as not a huge problem.

  1. Okay, Megan, here is your challenge (part of this activity. Go on a quest to find the items on your peace list and post them to this blog. (you can embed utube videos, images, songs--you already figured out that one!). So-for both a challenge, and your full blogger assessment--go for it and post the full peace list. I will post mine after you and April are done! PS--you will find the blog rubric in the introductory module. Enjoy...
